YES! – Running Barefoot Again (Slowly)

This morning I took off for a slow exploratory pace about 1000 yards. Stopping at the 500 yard mark to stretch and feel my foot. It is still tender on the second metatarsal. I go back to my starting point slowly — striving to maintain good technique and light footsteps. I can feel that I am still favoring the inside of my foot and am rolling excessively to the outside. Relax I tell myself. I know I have to go slow if I want any chance of being able to run the marathon. It’s a long-shot but mentally I will leave the door open. Now off to do some Kundilini Yoga.
