Recovery

For the last three weeks I have worked through an injury that has sidelined me from training. My foot is starting to feel much better and is regaining its strength. I was able to run about 1000 yards on Friday. Today it is feeling almost pain free. I am anxious yet trepidatious knowing how susceptible I am to BRE (Barefoot Running Euphoria) to run barefoot again.

I am sharing in your barefoot experiences! I have been running barefoot for 3 years, still have not gotten up to marathon distances yet. The longest I have run is 16 miles, and it was difficult. I mostly run for fun, but still have the lingering thought that it would be great to do a marathon. Hmmm… October is coming up too quickly for me to get ready for that one. Maybe next year!

Hey, my sister sculpted a Santa Clara statue for city hall? or a college? (I’m not sure) Its of a girl with a wide apron. Have you seen it?
